Shopping to Feel Good
Anna and Emma felt a bit sad today. They decided to go shopping to feel better. They walked to a big department store in town. The store had many pretty clothes and shoes.
First, they looked at some jeans. Anna found blue jeans that fit her well. Emma saw black jeans she liked. Both jeans were on sale, so the price was good. They were happy with their new jeans.
Next, they saw a bright red blouse. Anna tried it on. It was her size and very soft. Emma said, ‘That looks great on you!’ Anna smiled and looked at the price. It was not too much, so she decided to buy it.
They also needed new hats for sun. Emma found a pink hat. Anna chose a white hat. Both hats were cute and not expensive. They laughed and put the hats on their heads.
It was getting cold outside, so they went to see the raincoats. Emma found a yellow raincoat. It was warm and light. Anna looked for one too, but did not find her size.
Before they left, they checked their cash. They had enough to pay for their clothes. They went to the cashier and paid for their jeans, blouse, hats, and raincoat. With bags in hands, they left the store.
Outside, the sun was shining again. Anna and Emma felt much better now. They had fun shopping together. Their new clothes were just what they needed.
